Steady Study

Terms of Service

The short version of the deal between you and Steady Study.

Effective 2026-07-22

The account is yours, and it's for a grown-up

You need to be 18 or older to open an account, and you agree you're the parent or guardian of any child you add. One family account covers your household. Keep your login to yourself — anything done from your account is on you.

What you get

A fresh worksheet for each child, on the subjects and days you schedule, at the level that fits them — plus a short note for you on how to help. Worksheets are generated with AI and checked by an automated safety pipeline before delivery; every worksheet has a report link if one ever misses. Worksheets are for your family's personal use, not for reselling or redistributing.

Your free trial

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. You put in a card up front, and we make a $1 verification charge that's refunded immediately — it's how we confirm a parent is signing up, and you're out nothing. Your first real charge is on day 7. Cancel anytime before then from your billing page and you pay nothing at all.

Plans, billing, and canceling

Plans are monthly or yearly and renew automatically at the price you signed up at until you cancel — you'll agree to those renewal terms, stated plainly, right at checkout, and we'll email you a copy. Cancel anytime from your billing page; it's the same few clicks as signing up, and you'll keep access through the end of the period you've paid for. If you're on a yearly plan, we'll email you a reminder before each renewal. We don't do surprise price changes on a plan you're already on. Payments run through Stripe.

Closing your account and your data

You can close your account and delete your child's data anytime from your account page. When you do, we remove your child's information and your login, and keep only the billing record our payment processor is required to hold. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's deleted and what's kept.

What we ask of you

Use Steady Study for your own family. Don't try to break into the service, scrape it, or resell the worksheets. We may pause an account that's being misused.

The honest limits

Steady Study is a practice tool, not a tutor, a diagnosis, or a guarantee of any particular result. Worksheets are AI-generated and safety-checked, but no automated system is perfect — content can occasionally be wrong or miss the level, which is exactly what the report link and the Too easy / Too hard buttons are for. We work hard to keep content accurate and age-appropriate, and to keep the service running, but we can't promise it's perfect or never down. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as-is, and our total liability to you is capped at what you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes, and the legal frame

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you before the change takes effect. Keeping the account after a change means you're okay with it.

These terms are governed by the law of the U.S. state where our operating entity is organized; we'll name that state here when the entity is formed, before we take a first payment. Any dispute goes to the courts of that state — we haven't buried an arbitration clause in here.
